The foundations for McArthur Group were laid
in 1839 when a Bristol ironmongery business was acquired by founder,
John McArthur. From small and humble beginnings the company has evolved
into one of the largest privately owned companies in the U.K.
In 1989, the company celebrated its 150th anniversary with the award of a Royal
Warrant from H.M. The Queen for the supply of fencing, wire products and ironmongery.
