In a scenario where pipe work needs to be laid in "brown field sites", traditional polyethylene water pipes can deteriorate when exposed to certain chemicals existing in the contaminated environment & may even cause taste problems in extreme cases after permeating through the pipe’s wall.

Protecta-Line water barrier pipe prevents any tainting that can be caused by through-wall permeation of volatile low molecular weight species & compounds. It also prevents any other chemicals that might be present in the ground from permeating into its wall & compromising it’s lifespan.

Protecta-Line barrier pipe is a revolutionary, multi-layered, co-extruded polyethylene barrier pipe for conveying drinking water through contaminated ground.
